Prepare the lyrics for music
- Put section labels such as [Verse], [Chorus], and [Bridge] on their own lines when the structure matters.
- Keep the main chorus idea short enough to repeat without becoming tiring.
- Break dense paragraphs into singable lines and read them aloud to catch crowded phrases.
- Remove notes, explanations, chords, and production directions from the lyric body; save those for the style field.
Write a separate sound direction
Describe the music with traits a listener could hear: broad genre, pace, groove, two or three important instruments, vocal energy, and the way the arrangement should build. For example: restrained piano-led pop, slow pulse, intimate lead vocal, light strings entering in the second chorus, and a wider final chorus.
