Turn a full mix into a lo-fi instrumental for video or streaming

Chain the Vocal Remover and the Lofi Converter to get a background-music bed from any track.

You have a finished track. You want a softer, vocals-free version for a YouTube background, a study playlist, or a podcast bed. Two tools, in order, get you there.

Step 1: pull the vocals

Open the Vocal Remover, upload the track, and wait for the instrumental stem. Save the download. You now have a version with minimal vocal leakage.

Step 2: lo-fi the instrumental

Open the Lofi Converter, drop in the instrumental, and pick a preset. Chill is the safest starting point for background-music use; Tape adds a rounder low end if the original is thin.

Licensing note

This workflow only covers the processing. If the original recording is copyrighted, derivative work still needs the right sync license. We wrote a short License page to help you figure out what you can and can't do with Vinylist output.
